Republic Solid Waste Services

**Post-Storm Trash Collection Update**

Following the 6th snowiest day in Greensboro history (!) and back-to-back winter storms, Republic Services is working diligently to catch up on missed trash and recycling collections.

Republic Services and the Town of Summerfield understand the inconvenience these delays may cause and appreciate everyone’s patience as crews work to resume service as safely and quickly as possible. To help get back on schedule, Republic Services will attempt to collect trash and recycling on Thursday, February 5, as street conditions allow.

Thanks for your understanding.

Effective January 1, 2026, the Town of Summerfield will assume all billing and administrative responsibilities for solid waste and recycling services. Republic Services will continue to provide collection services on your regular schedule, and there will be no interruption to service.
