Upcoming Town Events

The annual fishing derby is a partnership between the Town of Summerfield, NC Wildlife Resources, and the Sportsmen's Wildlife Club. This free event is open to children ages 6 through 12 and is held at the Sportsmen's Wildlife Club (7999 Winfree Road). Space is limited to 40 children so register early! The day includes fishing and a local ecology lesson from Stormwater SMART.

June 21 - 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Each child must be supervised by a parent. Bait is provided. Children may bring their own rods and reels or the event will supply these.

Music in the Park

Summerfield's free concert series is held throughout the summer at the Summerfield Community Park Amphitheater (5404 Centerfield Road). These live performances offer entertainment for the entire family and children will also appreciate the adjacent playground. Bring your own blanket or chairs for a fun and relaxing evening. Food trucks will be on hand with delicious items to purchase.

Movies in the Park

Enjoy a night under the stars at Summerfield's beautiful amphitheater (5404 Centerfield Road) as you watch a family-friendly film! Bring your own blanket or chairs and relax in front of our oversized outdoor screen. Gates open at 6:30 and the movie begins at dusk.

Movies and popcorn are free and the event is open to the public. Coolers are welcome, but no alcohol is allowed.
