Notice of Public Hearing

 

The Town of Summerfield Administrator is proposing text amendments to modify Article 4.B.6.(d)(3) and Article 5.J.2.(m) and Table 5.J.5.2 regarding signage regulations.

The Planning Board makes a recommendation to Town Council, and then Town Council makes the final decision on text amendments. You may attend any or all meetings to convey your questions, comments, or concerns.

To learn more about the request, please attend the Planning Board Public Hearing scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, 6:00 pm, Summerfield Community Center (5404 Centerfield Road, Summerfield, NC). Alternatively, visit the Town’s website (https://www.summerfieldnc.gov/cases) to find additional information on upcoming cases.

If you wish to speak in a formal setting to express whether you are in favor, against, or neutral about the request, please attend one or both Public Hearings:

1.    Planning Board Public Hearing: Monday, January 26, 2026, 6:00 pm, Summerfield Community Center (5404 Centerfield Road).

2.    Council Public Hearing: Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 6:30pm, Summerfield Community Center (5404 Centerfield Road).
