Founders' Day
When:Please join the town for fun and celebration during our Founders' Day event!
The 22nd annual festival will run from 6:00pm until 10:00pm on Friday, May 18 and from 10:00am until 4:00pm on Saturday, May 19 at 7300-7400 Summerfield Road, next to Summerfield Fire Station #9.
Friday, May 18 entertainment includes:
• music from Northern High School band and vocal ensembles
• carnival rides
• variety inflatables and rock wall
• lawn games
• food trucks
Saturday, May 19 entertainment includes:
• 10am parade along Summerfield Road
• music from Northwest High School, Greensboro Academy and other local bands
• carnival rides
• inflatables and rock wall
• pony rides
• Captain Jim Magician shows
• Wonderland Studios kid area
• forty local craft and business vendors
• Historical Committee Tent with displays and interactives
• Trails and Open Space Committee Tent with displays and interactives
• lawn games
• face painting and balloon twisting
• food trucks
• and more to come!
Shuttle service will be provided from the Summerfield Square Shopping Center/Dollar General parking lot (4539 US 220 North) on a continuous loop from 8:30am until 4:30pm on Saturday.
