Public Records Request Policy

The Town of Summerfield is dedicated to transparency and accountability and operates in accordance with North Carolina's public records laws and policies to make available to the public all records in its custody and control that are defined as “public records” under North Carolina General Statute 132.

The town's Public Records Request Policy (POL 2018-001) ensures consistent responses to public records requests.  Town of Summerfield staff will work within the guidelines of our public records policy when fulfilling your public records request.
